MUSTANG BOYS BASKETBALL CONDITIONING
Players and Parents,
I’m hoping this finds you energized and ready for the school year. I know I’m excited about the upcoming season and as usual, can’t wait to get started!! This year we have a lot of kids who are involved in other activities outside of school sanctioned fall sports. It is my goal to get these kids, along with the one’s who are not playing a sport in the fall season in the “basketball mode”!
For the next eight weeks, we will start our preseason conditioning workouts. This is NOT MANDITORY! However, I encourage our kids to be a part of these workouts if they plan on trying out for the team. KIDS WHO ARE PLAYING A FALL SPORT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN WORKOUTS! However, they may show up to our open gyms to work on some basic skills, they will not be allowed to play in pick up games. Our conditioning will consist of running, plyometrics, and weight training.
Here is the schedule for workouts:
Mondays/Wednesdays- 3pm-4:30pm (meet in main gym)
Sundays- open gyms in stable or main gym 6-8pm (starting Sept. 14). Check with Coach McNeal to see which facility we’ll be using.
